The spaces of 3 of our iconic objects become minimalist canvases that designer Mauricio Lara uses to create geometric universes inhabited by enigmatic characters, the usual protagonists in the artist's graphics. These characters playfully take over these three pieces, allowing each person who sees them to appreciate, imagine and narrate their own story.

The Mauricio Lara Author's Edition for Lo Esencial consists of 3 different objects:

Each object is entirely handcrafted in genuine All Black full-grain leather, and hand-embossed in bas-relief with a graphic designed by the artist exclusively for this edition. 

The objects in this edition are numbered, and include commemorative packaging, a special protective bag, certificate of authenticity and a postcard on cotton paper, hand-signed by the artist.

Mauricio Lara is a Mexican designer distinguished by the wide range of his professional work, from impeccable commercial projects to pieces full of contagious humor. 

Mauricio's creative work is not limited to his activity as an industrial designer, he is very comfortable working his artistic vein with painting, sculpture, graphics and illustration, he has experimented with different materials such as ceramics, glass and even collaborations in fashion design. 

With more than 30 years of professional experience, Mauricio Lara is recognized as one of the most important designers in Mexico. He was the founder of eos mexico and of the current LARA HNOS. one of the most important design studios in the country, where he collaborates with his brother Sebastián Lara.
